Alpha House Week of Care

Join First Presbyterian in serving families at Alpha House by providing a meal or volunteering with childcare during our upcoming hosting opportunity.

Alpha House is part of the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN), whose mission is to provide temporary housing, meals, and support services for families experiencing homelessness in an atmosphere of dignity, safety, and compassion. The shelter serves up to 14 families, and approximately 30 people will be present for dinner. If you would like to learn more about Alpha House, visit their website.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Main Dish: Prepare enough for approximately 24 people.

• Vegetarian Entrée: Prepare enough for approximately 10 people.

• Side Dish: Prepare enough for approximately 30 people.
