David VanderMeer

David earned his undergraduate degree in music from Westminster Choir College and earned a Master’s in Practical Theology with a worship focus from Columbia Theological Seminary. A Certified Church Musician and past President of the Presbyterian Association of Musicians (PAM), David has directed PAM’s Worship and Music Conferences across the U.S. and is active in various professional organizations. David is passionate about creative worship and liturgy and is recognized as a leader in collaborative worship planning. He delights in helping people find ways to utilize their God-given talents in service to the Church.

David and his husband, Brent, enjoy cooking, hosting dinners, travel, fine arts, and nature. David’s daughter, Caryn, and her husband, Caleb, live in Texas with their son.
