David Hufford

David is a skilled musician with a rich background as an organist, vocalist, and organ technician. Originally from Toledo, he began playing the organ at age six and landed his first church position at 16. David moved to Ann Arbor to study in the University of Michigan’s Organ Department, where he won several competitions and performed at national conventions. He co-founded Renaissance Pipe Organ Company and is a past member of the Dearborn-based Vanguard Voices. David also serves as staff organist at the Michigan Theater.

He and his partner, Randall, enjoy making music together, good food, coffee, and hands-on projects like home remodeling.
