Barb Delancey

Barb arrived in Ann Arbor as a University of Michigan student in the 1970s and decided to make it home. With a BSN and MSN from U-M, she spent two decades as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Emergency Department. Her career also includes roles as a Poison Control Specialist, Camp Nurse, Parent-Child Nurse, and nurse educator. Barb and her husband, John, have been married for over 40 years and have three grown children. Since joining First Pres more than 30 years ago, Barb has cherished the community, serving as a choir member, Elder, Stephen Minister, and Sunday School teacher. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with friends, including running, hiking, tennis, and biking.
