Parents are invited to start the new year with community, good conversation, and a meaningful read. This winter we’ll explore Pilgrimage into Letting Go by Andrew and Kara Root—a thoughtful guide that encourages parents to release the pressure to control and instead cultivate deeper, grace-filled connection with their children. Drawing from their own family’s journey, the Roots offer wisdom for transforming anxiety-driven parenting into relationships centered on faith, presence, and trust.
The book club will meet for six sessions during youth group (childcare provided for younger children, ages 0–5th grade). If you register in advance, the church will send you the audiobook for free!
Meeting Dates: January 11, 18, 25 and February 1, 8, 22.
