Heather Polikoff

Heather Kortlandt Polikoff grew up in Novi, Michigan, and became part of First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor when she returned to the area with her family in the fall of 2022. She holds a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Michigan and has 12 years of experience teaching elementary and middle school students.

Raised in a Presbyterian church, Heather is an ordained Ruling Elder in the PC(USA) and has been an active member of congregations in Arkansas, Virginia, and Utah. From 2020 to 2022, she served as the Director of the Children’s Ministry at Wasatch Presbyterian Church in Salt Lake City, where she led faith formation programs for children and families with infants through sixth graders.

Heather lives in Ann Arbor with her husband, Rich, and their three daughters: Carly, Zora, and Marlo. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, sports, and traveling. Heather and her family are thrilled to be part of the First Presbyterian community, and she is passionate about helping connect families to the many opportunities for faith and fellowship the church offers.
